Scholarships and Community Grants
Each year, the Fort Myer Thrift Shop a 501(c)(3) tax exempt, non-profit organization raises money through donations and consignments.  A record amount of scholarships and community grants will be awarded as a result of the dedicated volunteers and staff who have worked diligently throughout the year.

Community Grants are awarded to 501(c)(3) tax exempt organizations that provide a service and/or support to military organizations. Community Grant requests are accepted from Tuesday, January 28, 2020  through Thursday April 16, 2020. Please visit our Community Grants page for more information, instructions, and a downloadable form to apply.

Scholarships for high school students, college students, and spouses 
are awarded to those who meet the eligibility requirements. Scholarship applications are accepted Tuesday January 28, 2020 through Tuesday March 31,2020 . Visit our web pages for more information, to download forms, and apply.

Fort Myer Thrift Shop scholarship and community grants are awarded  without regard to applicants’ race, color, gender, national origin, religion, creed, disability, sex, religion, political beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by law.
