Scholarships
The Army Officer’s Wives Club (AOWCGWA) along with the AOWCGWA - Fort Myer Thrift Shop (a
501 excempt non-profit organization) raises money through sales at the Fort Myer Thrift Shop for
scholarships and community grants.
Scholarships for the 2009-2010 school year
Three categories are awarded: high school senior, college student (no older than 22 years of age)
and spouse.
Eligible applicants are the children or spouses of U.S. Army personnel who are enrolled in an
accredited post-secondary program during this period. The sponsor may be active duty or retired,
officer or enlisted.
